    Inventory Clerk (Packaging) - Alrode Brewery

    Job Purpose

    The key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the receiving, issuing, counting and storage of all Raw Materials & M&P Sundries, whilst managing and optimising resources (equipment and people).

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Raw Material Quality Management​

    • Raw material quality standards are adhered to as per VPO requirements​
    • Raw material sampling and batch recording to ensure traceability of all raw materials
    • Raw material Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock​
    • Ensure stock stored correctly and compliance to the freshness and rotation policy (FEFO) as per VPO standards​

    Raw Materials Leadership

    • Lead through VPO and support all VPO Pillar requirements.
    • Ensure sufficient human resources availability according to raw material delivery plan.
    • Ensure all VPO procedures and systems are adhered to.
    • Ensure internal customers are supplied with their raw material requirements in terms of supporting the daily packaging plan.

    Raw Materials Inventory Management:

    • Independent inventory counts conducted on all raw material Inventory reconciled to SAP inventory.
    • Inventory count difference identified, investigated, resolved & reported. Un-resolved inventory count differences escalated to DPR/RMSM/PPM with commentary & action plans.​
    • All physical movements of raw material stock transacted in SAP accurately, ​and records kept of all stock batches for traceability.
    • Management of MES stock receipts updated real time.
    • Adherence to storage and stacking policies and procedures.
    • ICE stock count pack compliance.
    • Daily walkabouts are adhered

    Profile:

    • Ideally National Diploma in Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant studies ​
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment​
    • Knowledge of Stock Control Processes ​
    • Knowledge of Brewery processes beneficial
    • FLT license an advantage

    PPM Specialist - Bryanston

    Job Purpose

    The Key Purpose of this role is to lead and implement revenue management strategies and activities for BU South.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Management of BU South commercial discounting package:

    • 1YP discounting strategy and budget setting at national, region, district and commercial function level
    • Responsible for discounts tracking, monitoring and delivery vs plan
    • Key stakeholder management to ensure alignment to discounting plan and adherence to policy

    BU South pricing master data management and governance:

    • Uploading and checking of SAP pricing master data for new and existing SKUs

    Liquor market price tracking:

    South Africa Logistics PPM Manager

    Job Purpose:

    To continuously drive BU South Logistics costs to an optimal level through:

    Coordinate in a challenging fashion (“open and close the gap”) the Financial Planning and Performance activities, 3YP Annual Budget Monthly Actuals reporting, Monthly Actuals analysis and review. Monthly  Full Year Forecast outlook (LE) including R&O Management, KPI Management, Champions Management, Escalations Management, Capex Management Footprint Internal and External benchmarking,  Proactively provide relevant business analysis, insights and recommendations on time to guarantee fast and precise business decision taking

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    • Define and Lead the process for BU South Logistics organization
    • Communicate annual plan calendar, milestones and PIs to Logistics organization
    • Monitor annual plan calendar implementation on a weekly basis together with PPM/BBP/NoCC and other functions on a need basis
    • Define departmental targets to deliver on 3YP, Zone or Global targets
    • Partner with Zone Procurement organization and GPO on estimating properly all price escalations as well as on identifying and quantifying Procurement Initiatives
    • Provide the facts and figures for all relevant budget calculations
    • Ensure all initiatives are properly embedded in the budget, while avoiding double counting Prepare management review presentations for BU South, respecting Zone  guidelines, templates and timelines

    Profile:

    Brewing Process Artisan - Prospecton Brewery

    Job Purpose:

    • The key purpose of this role is to operate the process area according to work instructions, execute non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of routine maintenance.

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Operating and Process Control

    • Operating the process area according to the work instructions and adhering to usage standards
    • Carrying out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analysis work practice
    • Recording waste on the appropriate documentation or information systems, and reviewing waste trends to identify problems or opportunities timeously
    • Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and completing all short interval control documentation
    • Responding rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that result in stoppages
    • Appropriate problem-solving approaches, as detailed in the problem-solving work practice must be followed
    • Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5s principles and following safe work practices
    • Unsafe work practices must be identified and corrected
    • Assisting fellow team members in the execution of their tasks

    Problem Solving

    • When problems occur, applying the appropriate techniques(e.g. 5y, quick fix routines etc.) the identify and correct the problem
    • Where the process artisan is unable to resolve the problem, involve fellow team members or escalate to the team leader if necessary
    • Where problems have been resolved, verify that the problems have been eliminated

    Maintenance of Plant and Equipment

    • Carry out in depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines according to the work instructions, and following the schedules supplied by the maintenance planner
    • Carrying out routine maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule
    • Where routine maintenance reveals larger problems, and the process artisan is unable to resolve these, it must be escalated to the team leader
    • Taking part in maintenance and cleaning days
    • This work must be executed in support of the maintenance support team and in accordance with the schedule issued by the maintenance planner
    • Taking part in maintenance post-mortems
    • This must be done in support of maintenance specialist support
    • Monitoring trends when conducting routine maintenance
    • Where trends indicate the existence of underlying problems, corrective action must be Quality Control and Analyses taken
    • This corrective action may involve the SBU, the maintenance controller or maintenance support
    • When operating, the process artisan must carry out the non-destructive quality checks and analyses
    • The list of checks to be carried out are contained in the work instructions
    • Recording the results of quality checks on the relevant documentation or information system
    • Where production does not meet quality standards the process artisan must try to identify and resolve problems using the appropriate techniques
    • If they are unable to resolve the problem themselves, it must be escalated to the team leader for further direction

    Communication

    • Actively participating in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions
    • Making use of the gap list to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
    • Fully understanding the team goals and participating in team goal review sessions
    • Where FFA's have been initiated, the process artisan may be asked to participate
    • Making use of relevant communication media (e. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues

    Packing & Dispense Execution Specialist

    Job Purpose

    The key purpose of this role is to implement consumer innovation (CIF), TIF and Champions projects across the zone as well as implementing packaging processes and technologies to optimize performance across the zone

    Key Roles and responsibilities:

    • Co-ordinate, plan and implement packaging consumer innovation projects (CIF) aligned with the gloabal CQV process including transport trials and stacking trials
    • Provide technical expertise on packaging materials, process and packaging equipment
    • Provide deep technical expertise for technical initiatives in packaging categories (i.e.: metals, glass, etc)
    • Regional interface management and execution
    • Identify new packaging VE savings (VA day, scouting process, fairs, champions program, benchmark)

    • Developing and updating of material and process standards, production scheduling, trial protocols, quality plans, new artwork, EQMS, and SAP/Acadia

    • Interface between Zitec packaging and ZBQ for requirements (Akitec’s, PU Probes, Software and Label gauges) CIF- Innovation and Global Brand Projects

    Warehouse Supervisor - Tzaneen

    Job Purpose

    The key purpose of this role is to manage shift to efficiently execute both T1 & T2 load plans to satisfy internal and external Customer service levels.

    Key roles and responsibilities:
    Inventory Counts

    • Physically perform and lead the morning inventory count process.
    • Identify the root cause of inventory count variances and put action plans in place through problem solving tools to improve the Inventory Accuracy KPI
