    Underwriting Officer - Ladybrand

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12;
    • FAIS Accreditation (relevant qualification, RE5 & CoB – will be beneficial);
    • Previous work experience in underwriting or short-term insurance environment (will be beneficial);
    • Product knowledge / training with regard to short-term insurance.

    Skills:

    • Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Strong numeracy skills;
    • Good organizational ability;
    • Must be able to function under pressure;
    • Deadline driven and good planning ability;
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
    • The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Underwriting of short-term policies (new business, renewals and amendments);
    • Service and liaison with / for Insurers and Brokers;
    • Maintenance of insurance policies;
    • Maintaining and capturing data on necessary systems and database;
    • Preparation of necessary reports (new business, renewals and amendments);
    • Execution of administrative duties.

    Accountant - De Aar

    Minimum Requirements:

    • B.Com Accounting or equivalent with completed clerkship and 3 years experience;
    • Previous Accountancy experience in a Motor Agency would be beneficial.

    Skills :

    • Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Numerical;
    • Accounting insight;
    • Good interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify problem areas, propose corrective processes, implement systems and procedures for corrections;
    • Drafting value addition reports in support of the industry;
    • Daily financial duties and control management;
    • Provide support to manager with the preparation of annual statements where applicable;
    • Adhoc tasks & projects.

    Aspiring Branch Manager - Bethulie

    Main purpose of the position:

    • The successful candidate will get practical exposure to the Trade/Retail business as well as the opportunity to work with the Team to learn new skills and gain Business insight and grow to management level.

    Minimum Requirements:
