    About the Job

    Overall Purpose of the Role

    • Offer innovative Health benefits solutions and services to Individual clients and Employer Groups. Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and overall client expansion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Key support to Bluestar advisers to drive health product sales.
    • Support Bluestar Advisers with health and gap cover presentations to employer groups.
    • Support in preparation of quotations and recommendation of suitable healthcare offerings to individuals and employer groups and their employees.
    • Liaise with medical schemes to assist in driving uptake.
    • Provide professional client interaction throughout all sales processes (application process and telephonic queries/frequent follow-up with clients)
    • Act with due care, skill, and diligence in the execution of all duties.
    • Fulfil contractual obligations as agreed to.

    Key Responsibilities (continues)

    • Support in oversight of the following:
      • Statutory obligations of the FSP.
      • Rendering of financial services of the FSP and individuals authorized to act on its behalf.
      • Business processes and operational ability.
      • Instill a culture of treating customers fairly in all aspects of the business.
    • Provide an effective and efficient administrative channel between Bluestar clients and service providers.
    • Good understanding of the benefits, rules of the three product providers; Bonita’s, Fedhealth and Sanlam Gap Cover.
    • Call centre inbound and outbound client calls

    Qualifications

    • Financial Services Industry related qualification
    • RE5
    • NQF5
    • Council for Medical Schemes accreditation – no longer under supervision
    • Class of Business-Health
    • Class of Business – Short term personal lines
    • 2 - 5 years’ experience within the healthcare industry
    • Experience in advice management processes – advantageous

    Experience

    • 2 - 5 years’ experience within the healthcare industry
    • Experience in advice management processes – advantageous

    Knowledge

    • Knowledge of Industry regulations; ex POPIA, TCF
    • Knowledge of selling methodologies
    • Knowledge in planning and co-ordinating of sales initiatives
