Treasury Accountant (FTC) at Tongaat Hulett

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cash management for South Africa
• Bank account reconciliations and investigations
• External loan accounting, including sweeps/utilisations, interest and fee accruals and payments
• Intra/intercompany loan accounting
• Monthly journals, reconciliations, and reporting for Treasury accounts (bank balances, external loans, intra/intercompany loans, related interest and fees)
• Liaison with internal customers, banks, lenders, and other external parties where required
• Maintenance of documentation (loan agreements, confirmations etc

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified accountant (CA (SA) / AGA (SA) / CGMA / equivalent)
• 1-3 years experience in Treasury or Accounting
• Microsoft Excel
• SAP would be preferable
• Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
