    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Job Description

    • Deliver efficient, focused and cost-effective talent acquisition solutions as required to support the business without compromising results
    • Proactively explore solutions which will decrease the dependency on external resourcing partners by implementing creative direct to market talent capturing solutions i.e., Headhunting, Talent Mapping, establishing candidate data base etc.
    • Ensure that recruitment and selection take place according to policy and governance
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the needs of the business are met in a timely manner
    • Develop a diverse talent pool of suitably experienced and qualified candidates
    • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
    • Provide regular talent acquisition reports to stakeholders
    • Manage the flow of communication between new/potential recruits and the relevant contacts within the organisation
    • Liaise/supervise outside agencies to source potential recruits when required
    • Ensure timely on-boarding of hires and adherence to on- boarding policies and procedures
    • Assess candidates (if necessary) to ensure cultural fit for the organisation, values alignment, long term potential, and technical fit for roles before presenting candidates to recruiting manager
    • Drive and execute all aspects of the talent acquisition/hiring process
    • Relationship building with line manager and candidates
    • Collaborate with Human Capital Manager and management to prepare, negotiate, and extend offer package to successful candidate.
    • Ensure Human Capital data integrity and record keeping
    • Comply with governance, compliance policies and procedures.
    • Comply with Safety, Health & Environment standards.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Matric
    • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience within Recruitment or related fields
    • Must have experience recruiting through full lifecycle
    • Experience within the Engineering field an advantage
    • Headhunting background
    • Social Media recruitment exposure
    • Must have experience working experience on e-Recruitment systems
    • Knowledge of talent and recruitment management
    • Knowledge of local regulations and legislation related to area of work
    • Knowledge of administration processes
    • Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Good presentation skills
