    Tyre Serviceman

    Qualifications & Experience

    Essential:

    • A valid and appropriate light vehicle driver’s licence (South African Code 08).
    • Grade 12 National Certificate

    Preferred:

    • A valid and appropriate heavy vehicle drivers licence (South African Code 10).
    • Grade 12 National certificate with maths and science.
    • Reports to Line manager

    Duties

    • The following is a general list of tasks that a Tyre Serviceman is required to perform. The Company may add to or vary these duties from time to time provided the variation is reasonable having regard to the Employee’s skills, competence and training.
    • Comply with Otraco Southern Africa’s policies procedures and instructions,
    • Comply with client policies, procedures and instructions.
    • Accurately record tyre change or other information and file or forward the information as required,
    • Perform equipment checks and calibrations according to procedures,
    • Fit and remove wheels from any type of vehicle according to procedures,
    • Mount and strip any type of tyre and rim assembly according to procedures,
    • Perform repairs to tyres and tubes according to procedures,
    • Operate forklifts and tyre handlers according to procedures.
    • Clean, paint and crack test rim components,
    • Perform Inspections and determine the suitability of wheel components to remain in service,
    • Maintain tyre operating pressures in accordance with site specifications,
    • Maintain a high quality of service to the client,
    • Present himself in a condition fit to perform his duties,
    • Complete any other duties allocated.

    Safety

    • Work safely and follow Occupational Health and Safety Procedures,
    • Comply with site “lock out” / “tag out” procedures,
    • Report hazards, unsafe work conditions and equipment,
    • Immediately report incidents and injuries to the supervisor,
    • Comply with applicable instructions as per on-site Safety Plan,
    • Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment according to procedures,
    • Perform vehicle Pre-start checks according to procedures.
    • Operate and maintain tools and equipment according to procedures,
    • Contribute to meetings and inspections in order to improve safety in the workplace,
    • Perform Risk Assessments and take control actions to reduce the risk of Injury or damage to equipment,
    • Perform Planned Task Observations and report deviations. Ensure corrective actions are performed,

    Sourcing Manager: CAPEX and Energy POC

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Sourcing and Tender Management

    • Development and execution of strategic sourcing strategy and plan for Capital Expenditure projects in alignment with company objectives and budgetary constraints.
    • Conduct spend analysis and develop category and savings plans.
    • Manage the end-to-end tender process.
    • Ensure alignment with Bridgestone procurement policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements ensuring adherence to ethical and sustainable sourcing practices.
    • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings, process enhancements, and innovation.

    Savings Implementation

    • Deliver on the savings plan and track on results.
    • Manage the sourcing process to ensure savings target is met.
    • Understand and Manage TCO.
    • Understanding of Incoterms, Exchange Rate, Forward Cover, etc.
    • Negotiate and manage supplier Payment terms.

    Supplier Relationship Management

    • Manage Pricing negotiations and Price Locks with suppliers according to policy and procedures.
    • Manage Supplier lead times and performance according to policy and procedures.
    • Develop supplier KPIs with stakeholders and cross functional teams.
    • Ensure supplier performs according to KPIs and expectations to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risk.

    Supplier Performance Management.

    • Identify and qualify potential suppliers/vendors for CAPEX-related goods and services, conducting comprehensive supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
    • Coordinate and ensure monthly supplier meetings are taking place.
    • Manage and Report back on supplier performance on a monthly basis.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Effective communication with Stakeholders.
    • Manage effective cross functional teams throughout the sourcing process.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal, to understand project requirements and ensure procurement needs are met effectively aligned with turnaround time.

    Contracts Management

    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize value, quality, and delivery timelines.
    • Ensure suppliers have contracts/SLAs in place following sourcing activities.
    • Ensure Contracts are tracked and reviewed as required.
    • Manage the contracts register and update all stakeholders.
    • Ensure effective and measurable KPIs are included in contracts.
    • Conduct regular check-in meetings with the team to ensure they are engaged.

    Education:

    • BCOM/ Degree in Procurement /Accounting/Engineering/Strategy/Logistics/Supply Chain Management is a requirement.

    • Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial industry an advantage
    • Experience in strategic sourcing and tender management a requirement

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5-7 Years’ experience in Procurement/ Logistics/Inventory Management
    • Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in Capex and Energy POC sourcing
    • Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings, process improvements, and value-added solutions in Capex and Energy POC procurement
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to Capex and Energy POC procurement and supply chain management
    • Proficiency in procurement software/tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Manufacturing/industrial environment experience an added advantage
    • Advanced Excel experience will be an added advantage
    • Technically strong, analytical, strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Commodity Management experience will be an added advantage
    • Experience in Imports and Oversees procurement will be an added advantage

    Tyre Serviceman Supervisor

    Qualifications & Experience 

    Essential:

    • Minimum 1 year experience in OTR TYRES in the mining industries
    • A valid and appropriate vehicle driver’s licence (South African Code 08).
    • Grade 12 National Certificate

    Preferred:

    • 5 years and more experience in OTR tyres in the underground mining industry would be an advantage.
    • A valid and appropriate heavy vehicle drivers’ licence (South African Code 10).
    • Grade 12 National certificate with maths and science.
    • Leadership certificate
    • Legal liability training

    Key Performance Areas

    • Day to day task delegation and assistance to tyre serviceman.
    • Comply with Otraco Southern Africa’s policies procedures and instructions.

    • Job card and maintenance order sign off and submission to mine clerk.
    • Accurately record tyre change or other information and file or forward the information as required.

    Sales Representative - Springbok

    Qualifications & Experience 

    Essential:

    • B. Degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Management
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
    • Minimum 2 years’ junior management experience
    • Basic Financial management skills (Profit & Loss / Balance sheet)
