Sushi Chef (Stellensbosch) at MPRTC Recruitment

• Seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to collaborate with the Head Chef in managing food stock and handling a variety of ingredients with precision and attention to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine and play a key role in establishing our reputation as a premier Japanese restaurant in the area.

Requirements:

• Matric; Culinary Diploma preferred.
• Approximately 4 years of experience in a senior chef role.
• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in an Asian restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques.
• Own transport with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work both quickly and accurately.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work during opening hours, including evenings, public holidays, and weekends.g Date:
