Key job responsibilities
You will be delivering high quality solutions in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast. You will be able to apply your technical skills coupled with your leadership, planning, and management abilities. You do not have to write code but prior experience in developing software in one more modern development languages like C, C++, Java or Rust is required. You'll also have the opportunity to use your technical skills by contributing to designs and other technical discussions. You will be able to provide guidance and leadership regarding the team's software engineering methodology. Amazon promotes a DevOps culture, so you’ll be able to evolve the team's testing, deployment and operational best practices .
You will be collaborating with multiple teams to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules; manage the day-to-day activities of the team by defining, implementing and maintaining a coherent, progressive development strategy.
