    SHE Officer - CashMaster Waltloo

    Job Description
     A position exists for a SHEQ Officer stationed at the Fidelity CashMaster at Waltloo. The position will report to the Quality Supply Chain Manager.  The overall purpose of this position is to perform a full SHEQ functions and deal with and co-ordinate all SHEQ related matters.  

    Experience, Requirements and Qualifications

    • 3-5 years’ experience in Environmental Health & Safety Management in Production and Manufacturing
    • Related Environmental Health & Safety certificates or equivalent courses completed (i.e. RCAT & Risk management, Environmental Health & Safety Management, etc.)
    • Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet)
    • Skilled in delivering training programs, presentations and development of policies and procedures
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Diploma/ Related Qualification in SHE Management

    Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive):

    Health and Safety

    • Drive a culture of “Zero Harm to People and the Environment” across the business
    • Drive and manage ISO 45000 and 19000
    • Provide leadership, mentoring, guidance to SHE reps
    • Manage and maintain SHE files
    • Develop and implement SHE projects, programs and Procedures in the business
    • Assist and coordinate the investigation and management of accidents, IOD incidents and near misses
    • Co-ordinate and conduct all SHE audits
    • Manage and maintain Environmental changes and issues
    • Ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety legislation
    • Identify OHS related training needs
    • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
    • Investigate workplace accidents
    • Report OHS related activities
    • Ensuring cleaning staff comply with OHS regulations
