Senior Terminal Operator-East London at Engen

Purpose of the Job

• Perform all functional Terminal operations requiring a specialized skill or level of experience in order to contribute to Terminal effectiveness.

What you’ll have done before:
Baseline:

• NQF Level 4 (Matric/Grade 12)
• 2 years’ experience in a Terminal or Depot Operations environment 
• Ability to work with heavy machines in a noisy environment

What you’ll be doing

• Adherence to applicable Work and Standing instructions as per Engen standards and applicable Legislation.
• Interact and provide support to customers and service providers/ contractors to ensure deliverables are met.
• Work with contractor to ensure deliverables are met.
• Provide internal support to the contractor.
• Ensure compliance to all HSEQ rules and promote awareness to the staff and contractors.
• Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with all stakeholders.
• Communicate, interpret and champion the execution of Engen's policies.
