Senior Manager: Risk Services - Parktown at Moore South Africa

Minimum Requirements    

• Four-year degree (or equivalent) plus CISA, CIA or CA(SA).
• 3-5 years' Audit and Risk experience and at least 3 years' experience at management level.
• Experience in the Private Sector - listed and private-owned organizations.
• Previous consulting experience in a professional services firm.
• Excellent risk, control and corporate governance knowledge.
• Strong business acumen.
• Strategic thinking ability.
• People and audit assignment management experience.
• Good interpesonal skills and client-centric approach.
• Influential and persuasive skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Limited travel - national and international.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Client Assignments:

• Planning and overseeing audits/advisory work/solution implementations for clients.
• Conducting business and IT strategy, governance, and policy audits/assessments/implementations.
• Performing business and IT risk assessments.
• Identifying key controls from a financial statement and/or risk perspective.
• Conducting various types of Internal Audits.
• Performing SOC/ISAE audits.
• Assisting other departments as and where needed.
• Drafting reports on findings and recommendations.
• Interacting with clients.
• Reporting to the Board, Audit Committees, and/or Risk Committees of clients.

Other Tasks:

• Developing long-term audit plans/coverage for clients.
• Initiating and developing new service lines and methodologies.
• Assisting the Head of Risk Services in marketing, new business development, and sales activities.
• Managing resources and clients assignments.
• Maintaining department structures, processes, and resources.
• Leading and coaching team members.
• Performing day-to-day administrative tasks.
