Senior Inspector Law Enforcement at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Three (3) years’ experience as an Inspector or similar position
• Law Enforcement, Peace Officer or Traffic Warden certificate
• A valid Code B or EB driver’s licence
• Task performance requires incumbent to be physically and able bodied
• No Criminal record

Key Performance Areas

• Supervise the activities of two or more law enforcement teams and ensuring continued service delivery.
• Ensuring communication between Supervisors and teams.
• Implement and monitor processes to ensure effective prosecution and conviction.
• Attending of meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure effective control over distribution of equipment.
• Supervise and control of members on the VIP Protection branch.
• Attend to the administrative functions.
