Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

• BSc Eng/B Eng. In Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial Engineering
• ECSA Registered Pr. Eng

Experience:

• 4 years post qualification experience in engineering design, design integration and engineering management in power line and plant technologies for efficient transmission of power on HV and EHV networks, continuous reviewing of performance and condition of the lines, evaluating and researching maintenance practices, capability of initiating investigations into line faults and poor performing plant, implementation and co-ordination of projects, leading various teams, activity budgeting and opex oversight, material management and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a technical consulting and investigation service for customers
• Produces and integrates engineering solutions / designs for asset creating on behalf of customer at various stages of the project lifecycle
• Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications for approval
• Provides input into discipline -specific technology vision, strategy and direction setting
