    Scheduler

    Job Description

    Join us as a Scheduler and take accountability for developing and managing the schedule for Projects delivered by the Stay In Business Northern Cape Hub by ensuring:

    • Development of the schedule plan including the basis of schedule document.
    • Development and updates to the Master Schedule incl. maintaining alignment of all contractor schedules.
    • Integration with the Cost controllers and their cost management plan.
    • Monitoring all associated detailed schedules, providing accurate reports on progress, variance to plan, root causes and remedial actions.
    • Monitoring the greater environment in order to identify potential risks to the schedule
    • Ensuring alignment with the Group Scheduling Standards for each phase (definition of what is required from a basis of estimate perspective)
    • Development and maintenance of a overall master project schedule tracking study and implementation.
    • Develop weekly, monthly progress reports aligned with project progress.
    • Transparent reporting of progress and development of progress reports.

    This role is in the Mining Technical Services Department at a Band 6 reporting to Manager Project Service.

    Qualifications

    You will be required to have the following:

    • Diploma/Degree in Technical (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Construction) field of study (NQF6)
    • 5 years’ experience as a scheduler in the Construction / Engineering Project Management environment.
    • Scheduling certification.
    • Advanced capabilities to work with MS project and Excel.
    • Driver's License: Code B (Light Vehicle)
    • Medically Fit
