Assistant Manager - Makhanda at Rhodes University

Main Objectives

• To provide specialist technical, administrative and operational support to the Manager of the Grounds & Gardens Section.

The Requirements
 
A relevant tertiary qualification (at least an NQF level 6) in related fields of Horticulture, Landscape Technology or Parks & Recreation Management, Building Construction or Management Diploma/Degree plus approximately 4 years’ of relevant experience where e such experience includes: -

• Previous experience having worked in either a large public parks and gardens or horticultural services unit
• Previous supervision and/or management experience (at least 3 years’) of having supervised and/or managed
• Project management experience would be an advantage
• A valid Code B Drivers’ License
