    Sales Supervisor

    DESCRIPTION

    We’re on the lookout for an experienced Regional Sales Leader to direct sales and sales Team management position focusing on HD Decoder and dish installations, fully installed by a registered Installer (subject to certain installation parameters) - to private homes and expanding market acceptance of the brand. To increase new sales via new business generation. The position focuses on aggressive direct to consumer sales and achieving defined Targets. Project may change as per client request from time to time. Responsible for leading a regional sales team and for the performance of operations within a defined region. Oversees workforce planning, sales strategy, and resource management for the region. To be based in Marikana.

    As a Regional Sales Leader /Sales Supervisor you will be responsible for:

    • Ensure Regional Team (and individual Direct Sales Agents) meet and exceed monthly sales and activity targets
    • Coordinate sales and activations activity
    • Communicate with DSA Teams regularly
    • Ensure sales are being captured on Client and Smollan platforms by DSA
    • Daily check-in and alignment with Direct Sales Teams on targets, activity etc.
    • Represent Smollan and Client to the highest standards at all times including uniform, kit, marketing material etc.
    • Adhere to all Smollan and Client policies at all times
    • Attend Smollan and Client training and regional meetings as needed
    • Attend and contribute to daily, weekly feedback sessions
    • Complete daily and weekly reporting on various platforms
    • Record competitor activity and Field activities
    • Facilitate sales and installations (as and when needed)
    • Schedule, coordinate and manage Team sales activations weekly/monthly
    • Train and Coach, the DSAs in the field
    • Daily/Weekly alignment with Project Lead on strategy, sales performance, installation status, Team performance
    • Submit and review monthly travel logs

    REQUIREMENTS

    What are we looking for?

    To qualify for this role, you should:   

    • Must be able to work in a door-to-door sales environment as required by the client
    • Must be able to work closely with Regional Partners/Installations Teams to achieve objectives
    • Matric
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • Own working vehicle with valid license disc

    Previous work experience

    • Proven experience and track record in direct selling
    • Proven experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor managing a direct sales Team
    • Sales experience within Telecoms, Tech, Content, Broadcasting, Entertainment

    • Skills in problem solving
    • Ability to take and follow instruction
    • Ability to communicate professionally in English and local/regional vernacular language
    • Ability to understand the Customer's needs and offer the right product/service
