Resilience Engineer at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To demonstrate a wide skill set across a variety of IT platforms, spanning across the full value chain of IT Engineering i.e. product or solution design and development, testing and maintenance. To use thought-leadership to identify and implement first approaches to solution development and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification:

• Degree/Honors Degree in IT and Computer Sciences/Business commerce or relevant.  Recognised Project/Programme/Portfolio management industry qualification.
• AWS Cloud Certification

Experience Required:

• 5-7 Years experience in one or more of: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python etc.
  5-7 Years experience in application Development and Support, Knowledge and experience with Software Version Control systems: SVN, GIT. 
• Experience maintaining automated build systems such as Bamboo and Jenkins, implementing Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery processes in engineering teams as well as leading and integrating test automation into various points in a deployment pipeline.
• 3-4 years - proven experience in modern engineering practices i.e. dev ops, agile etc.
