    Advisor Technical / Technical Communicator (Centurion)

    Description

    • To provide support and technical advice where specialised knowledge is required to resolve problems and enhance skill levels of customers and support staff. This role forms part of the internal knowledge center within AFGRI Equipment. Works with the Workshop Managers and Technical Advisors to help solve problems. Helps to improve Technicians’ diagnostic and repair abilities resulting in less downtime and reduced costs for our customers.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Qualified Technician
    • Valid driver’s license

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 2 Years related experience after qualification

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Technical support to technicians and mechanisation employees
    • Training
    • Customer service
    • Reporting
    • Coordinates CCMS (Case & Contact Management System) cases between Technicians and John Deere CCMS factory support
    • Identify, communicate, and execute continuous process improvements in the Service and Parts departments
    • Spend 50% of your time as a Technical Advisor (Field based) and 50% as a Technical Communicator (Connected Support Center – Centurion)

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES         

    • Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR™, Parts ADVISOR™, or other computer-based diagnostic repair tools preferred.
    • Good knowledge of AFGRI’s product range
    • Good verbal expression and communication skills
    • Coaching and training skills
