    RAS Ops Co-Ordinator

    Job Description & Summary
    A career in our Oracle Risk Assurance practice, within Information Technology Risk Assurance will allow you to develop and apply strategies that help clients leverage enterprise technologies so they can get a higher return on their investment, mitigate risks, streamline processes, and find operational inefficiencies. The work revolves around creative problem solving and applying innovative technologies to enable strategies that increase the value of the applications that run our client’s business, mitigate risk and find operational inefficiencies.

    Our focus is on creating effective and efficient design for the most important business, security and compliance processes for our clients. We touch on aspects of application security, areas prone to fraud and financial misstatement, and streamline processes that are part of our client’s core business so they can get a higher return on this key investment. Using innovative, and proprietary technologies, we help to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, compliance functions and Information Technology teams to assist in understanding how to embrace new ways of working, while limiting their financial and operational risk profile. We use knowledge of financial system design, risk mitigation, business process design, data integrity, security and use of data analytics.

    In order to effectively streamline operational support in the RAS competencies, the RAS Operations Forum was established. The forum is simply a platform where individuals supporting the operations of their teams can discuss operational issues and solutions.

    The intention is however to use this platform to:

    • Implement and support centralised RAS operational processes in the teams
    • Collaborate between teams to unlock efficiencies and expanding support across the teams
    • Support RAS Operations by sharing feedback and ideas, as well as key hurdles, with the RAS Operations leader.

    Qualifications / Certifications required:

    • Project Management

    Experience required:

    • Project Management Experience
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to work independently
    • Able to effectively meet varying deadlines in a high pressure environment
    • Previous experience in a RAS environment and a comprehensive understanding of the organisation is essentia

    Responsibilities of role

    Staff planning and talent management

    • Maintaining the staff planner and assisting with staff project allocation
    • Assisting with the Staff short term secondment process
    • Coordinating annual talent management activity and tracking progress against planned activities
    • Co-ordinating the ADP and CRT processes
    • Managing workday compliance
    • Project management

    Assisting large project teams with project management activities (Fy23 PepsiCo)
    Financial and project management:

    • Guide the teams in creating Salesforce opportunities correctly and check that Oracle codes are created accurately (including linked to other teams’ projects and cross-border).
    • Requesting invoices and ensuring they are created timeously and accurately
    • Managing the debtors including liaising with overseas debtors and local finance teams to have payments allocated correctly (including withholding tax certificates).
    • Processing of all IOCNs and making sure they are processed correctly (especially where codes are closed)
    • Closing codes on Oracle
    • Submitting and processing expense claims timeously and accurately (including software subscriptions, professional membership fees, exams)

    Internal role - Risk Management

    • Monitoring ongoing file compliance
    • Internal role - Wellbeing and culture
    • Arranging annual wellbeing and culture related activities and events
    • Managing the RAS social calendar, organising event and monitoring the budget
    • Internal role - Recruitment and Onboarding :

    Arranging all aspects of recruitment events

    • Managing the Onboarding process for grads and experienced hires including
    • Arranging training for the team (onboarding and ongoing formal training sessions)
    • Professional subscriptions, exams and conferences
    • Coordinate the renewal of professional subscriptions (collect information, renew and arrange payment)
    • Coordinate attendance of, and payment for conferences
    • Ensure the accurate completion of documents and submission of payments for exams

    General administration:

    • Arrange travel and accommodation for the team
    • Complete timesheets and expenses for certain AD’s and partners
    • Arranging meetings (internal and external) and ensuring they run smoothly
    • Assisting the team with all admin concerns, HC queries, OneTech queries etc
