    Project Manager (Western Cape)

    Description
    Purpose of the job 

    • The Project manager will be primarily responsible for planning, executing and monitoring projects.  Collaborating and providing feedback to all stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met. Additionally they will be responsible for managing project budgets to ensure the financial viability of projects.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Project management 
    • Ensure project deliverables are of a high quality
    • Effective Stakeholder Management
    • Manages performance of project teams
    • Creates and maintains Comprehensive Project Documentation

    Requirements

    Job Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. IT; Commercial ; Computer Science). 
    • Project management qualification/training (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2 or similar) 
    • Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP) will be an advantage 
    • 5 years project management experience 
    • Retail experience will be an advantage 
    • Proven track record of medium to large scale projects 
    • Experience leading cross functional project teams 

    Technical Skills

    • Project management methodology (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Project management software (e.g. Asana, Jira, Trello etc.).
    • Data analysis and reporting.
    • Budgeting and financial management.
    • Communication and collaboration tools (eg Google Suite products).
    • Understanding of Marketing Teams and Advanced Analytics Teams and associated IT infrastructure
    • Knowledge and understanding of POPIA

    Soft Skills

    • Leadership and communication.
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking.
    • Time management and organization.
    • Negotiation and conflict resolution.
    • Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
    • Adaptability and resilience.
