    Operations Manager - Wynberg

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Grade A PSIRA registered, 
    • valid unendorsed driving license 
    • Firearm Competency for Business Purposes
    • A tertiary qualification in Security or any related field would be an advantage
    • At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Operations Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Rosters for the site/sites under your control to be handed to the employees no later than the 10th of each month.
    • Report changes to rosters to Roster Clerk and ensure that the changes are made, and new rosters delivered.
    • Maintain discipline in a fair and impartial manner on every site.
    • Site management and attend all serious incidents
    • Supply full statements to the client and Branch Manager
    • compiled and forwarded to the Branch Manager and the client within 48 hours of the incident occurring..
    • All registers and other documentation to be checked bi-weekly.
    • Ensure that Job Descriptions, Risk Assessments and Site Procedure Manuals are in the site file that must be available at the on-site security office/control room.
    • Operations Manager to ensure that casual contracts are approved via email by the client before posting any guards on site.
    • Give immediate attention to client problems and feedback to be supplied to the client and Branch Manager in writing.
    • Feedback to be given to client and Branch manager on all remedial action taken on points raised during client visits.
    • Assist management where needed.

    • Sound Financial Acumen.
    • Administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills.
    • Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills.
    • Proficient in computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Experience in report writing.
    • Ability to successfully manage a team.
    • Track record of working in a fast paced and demanding environment.
