Operational Support: Head at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• An appropriate B Degree
• 8 years relevant experience in an administrative management, public safety management or public safety research environment
• A valid Code B driver’s licence
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications

Key Performance Areas

• Manage specialised projects, programmes and business processes by developing and implementing strategies and plans
• Manage the continuous development and delivery of public safety research projects, informant rewards programmes, trauma management, substance abuse prevention and containment programmes
• Coordinate and manage workplace resilience and trauma exposure within the directorate
• Oversee the development and implementation of substance abuse prevention initiatives
• Coordinate liaison with local and international stakeholders
• Manage compliance to the prescripts of the SAPS Act in respect of Civilian Oversight requirements
• Lead and control staff within the Strategic and Operational Support section
