Motor DOS Agent (JG 10) at Santam Insurance

What will you do?
The Motot Direction of Spend Agent will fulfil duties such as directing the Brokers/Clients to the most suitable MBR in the area and contact relevant stakeholders and advise on benefits as well as strategic objectives. 

This role will also include the following:

•     Make appropriate selection on RAM (Repair Allocation Manager) and Mainframe/Portal.
•     Requesting Brokers/Clients to sign a disclaimer, should the client select to repair an In-Warranty Vehicle at an MBR that does not have the required (OEM) Approvals. 
•     Inform Brokers/Clients the risks on deviating from the Santam contracted suppliers. 
•     Send the “Making use of a Non-Contracted Repairer” email to the Brokers/Clients.
•     Request a quote from the Brokers/Clients from his chosen MBR with pictures confirming damages and quantum.
•     Telephone and e-mail Management
•     Being professional on phone and e-mails always
•     Make appropriate selection on RAM for claims as per systematic requirements governed by the policy terms and conditions.
•     Servicing our Brokers/Clients including: adherence to prompt responses on all verbal and written correspondence, general queries and claims management, monitoring and reviewing of mailboxes daily to action tasks in a prompt and efficient manner and relationship building.
•     Ensuring performance standards are met against KPI’s and KPA’s
•     Attending all training schedules as required
   

What will make you successful in this role?
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

•     Matric
•     Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Short Term Insurance essential preferably claims
•     Preferred candidate to be bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
•     Excellent computer literacy – MS Office and Santam systems
•     Strong client service orientation
•     RAM system experience will be beneficial
