Mirabilis a subsidiary of Santam has a position available for a Marketing Assistant who will be based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The main purpose of the job is to support the marketing team and coordinate training and other broker functions.

Key Functions

Function Coordination

• Function arrangement
• Material Preparation for training functions
• Assistance in hosting functions (Candidate should be well spoken and presentable)
• Invitation and RSVP management
• Roadtrip preparation and scheduling of meetings with clients
   

Stats Preparation

• Broker Premium consolidation
• Broker information consolidation
• Broker target consolidation
• Broker area distribution
   

Minute taking and preparation

• Scheduling meetings for departments
• Taking minutes at Marketing and related meetings
• Distribution of tasks agreed at meetings and follow-ups to it
   

Marketing Training

• Powerpoint Presentation preparation
• Research for Marketing Presentations
   

Quoting and Admin

• Quoting on instruction (ie: understanding of systems and a basic knowledge of insurance)
• Renewal preparation monthly
• Solving of queries on instruction between various departments
   

Qualification And Experience

• Post Graduate B.Comm or Engineering Qualification
• 2 year in short term insurance marketing experience
• Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
• General Secretarial skills
• Driver’s license (and own vehicle)

• Various practical industry courses and on the job coaching
• Continuous development of interpersonal skills
