Manager, Finance, VAF (Profitability ) at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To monitor the profitability of business and commercial customers within the Fleet and Commercial Asset Finance businesses by playing the role of value manager, ensuring new business volumes are at appropriate levels compared to pricing commitments, existing book is performing at target ROE levels, costs are adequately managed and equitably allocated to products and segments. Providing inputs into Pricing and ROE models; supporting business on portfolio pricing and analysis and an understanding of the cost base. Ensure source data is reconciled to the General Ledger and accurately presented in sub ledger, PMT, CRT and other business dashboard tools. Collaborate with VAF and segment Central Finance, Product team, Measurement, Group VAF MIS team and other relevant parties in the coordination of financial processes and providing profitability insights.

Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Finance and Accounting

Experience Required
Finance 

• Minimum of 4 Years Financial accounting experience, including budgeting, revenue and cost management.  Experience with transactional product drivers and metrics within a financial services environment. Experience in building and maintaining models, also in managing and working with large quantities of data. Management accounting including variance analysis.  Previous banking experience would be an advantage.
