    Major Accounts Manager - Big Trucks - Boksburg


    Key Performance Areas

    • Drive new profitable business growth according to set targets
    • Drive sales across all business products (New, Used, LTR, STR)
    • Build and maintain relations with major account customers
    • Responsible for developing strategic partners to enhance the business offering
    • Work closely with the rest of the Sales team to develop meaningful and comprehensive  customer plans
    • Compile and execute the major accounts marketing strategy – working closely with the Marketing department, Principals and GM Sales
    • Maintain a sound and professional relationship with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g., principals, suppliers and BHBW group of companies)
    • Work closely with Aftersales and Asset Optimisation teams
    • Seek out new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the business offerings
    • Responsible for compiling monthly reports on major accounts
    • Monitor and control all cost to maintain contract fleet for major accounts
    • Attend sales workshops and conferences from time to time
    • Continually scan the environment, seeking out market trends and market intelligence to inform decisions
    • Ensure high safety standards and always uphold BHBW Code of Conduct
    • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
    • Achieve individual Balanced Scorecard and KPIs
    • Effective self-management and performance ownership
    • Adherence to any reasonable instruction

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Qualification

    • Grade 12
    • Sales or Marketing Diploma

    Minimum Experience

    • 5-7 years in a similar position and environment
    • Exposure and experience in dealing with blue chip companies
    • Strategies and operational implementation experience

    Competencies

    • Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
    • Strong commercial sense with good business intuition
    • Sound knowledge of service/aftermarket
    • Exposure to business planning and budgeting
    • Business acumen and high level of professionalism
    • Strategic thinker with good risk analysis skills
    • Understanding of the market dynamics
    • Sales cycle knowledge
    • Ability to plan and think ahead.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
    • Efficient with MS office (knowledge of SAP advantageous)
    • Focus on achieving results
    • Composed, resilient and relentless
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Self- started attuned to looking for opportunities
    • Ability to operate at all levels of the organisation
    • Build and optimise key relationships (networking ability)
