Job Purpose

• TO TEACH LIFE SCIENCES TO SP/FET STUDENTS IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: LECTURER

• A relevant Master’s degree in Life Science Education or Biology Education
• Life Science or Biology subject as a major at undergraduate level
• A relevant teaching qualification (preferably at secondary school level)
• At least two (2) years’ relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years’ relevant teaching experience in SP & FET Phase at school level.
• Specialized knowledge of methodologies of teaching Life Sciences
