Junior Digital Design intern at Truworths

Job Description

We’re looking for a Digital Design Intern to join the Truworths Marketing Department. You will work with the digital content and e-commerce teams on various iterations of digital designs, campaigns, and content pieces. Think social media content, videos, gifs, emails, animations, banners, and more. We need a young, fun, and interesting design mind who knows all about content creation, can react quickly on hot content trends, can work across many brands, and has an innate love of fashion. For this role we require a qualification in design with a strong portfolio, attentiveness and a collaborative mind-set, an understanding of social media, as well as good communication skills. You will be mentored by a team of editors, designers, and creatives, with exposure to our entire content journey – from concept to customer. Key Responsibilities

The intern will assist the Digital team with the following tasks:

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• A love for fashion a plus
• Qualifications and Experience
• Marketing/Business or Communication related qualification
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
