    Internal Client Services -Finance- Senior Consultant - Tax Global Assignments

    Job Description

    Main Purpose of Job:

    • To support team in delivery of services to internal clients in relevant area of expertise.

    • The Global Mobility Consultant will be a subject matter expert in global mobility programmes, with special focus on mobility in Africa and will provide advice and support in all areas related to cross border travel for Deloitte.

    • This role will collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR business partners and key functional stakeholders (tax, legal, payroll, finance etc.) maintain Deloitte’s global mobility strategy, policies and processes in order to maximise programme effectiveness, minimise cost and monitor compliance

    • Responsible for overseeing  the mobility process and service providers/vendors (internal & external)

    Qualifications

    Required

    • National Diploma in relevant function and studying towards degree

    • 3 years’ working experience within the relevant function

    Preferred

    • Degree

    • 2 years’ at Junior Consultant level within the function

    ·     Secondments

    •  Providing business and Global Mobility with tax advice, including tax clauses and SA tax calculations.

    •  Providing calculations, coding instructions and advice to Payroll in order to amend the Payroll and IRP5's.

    •  Ensuring that secondees are tax compliant.

    •  Entry and exit tax briefings.

    ·       General Tax Advisory

    •  Providing Tax Advice on international transactions

    •  Ensure international tax compliance for various tax registrations, compliance matters etc.

    ·       JIT

    •  Overseeing the overall JIT tax function

    •  JIT workshop slides and presentations.

    • Tax filing guidance to assist the secondees with their international and South African tax filings (JIT).

    •  IRP5 foreign sourced coding.

    ·       Monitoring

    • Maintain and communicate global moMonitoring presence of Deloitte employees and alert business where tax exposure may be triggered.

    ·       General

    •  Overseeing functions of a Junior Tax Consultant.

    •  Address ad-hoc queries, researching tax concepts.
