    Head: Outbound Sales

    What will you do?

    The Head of Sales Outbound will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of the sales and the sales support call centre. The role reports to the Executive Head: Operations and serves as an integral member of the senior management team.

    Minimum Qualification Required

    • Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
    • Relevant qualification/certification
    • Tertiary qualification advantageous
    • RE05 (Representative)
    • RE01 (Key Individual) will be beneficial

    Minimum Experience Required

    • Minimum 8 years’ management experience in a direct Sales environment
    • Minimum 8 years’ insurance industry experience
    • Must be able to formulate and implement strategic objectives
    • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation
    • Proven track record of meeting and growing sales volumes.
    • Proven track record of optimising direct sales cost structures.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsibly for implementing growth strategies for the department
    • Leading and directing the entire sales department
    • Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy to maximize sales opportunities.
    • Investigate factors impacting sales performance.
    • Leverage innovations to maximize revenue of traditional and digital assets and products.
    • Direct the Sales team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth
    • Investigate factors impacting sales performance.

    • Responsible for improving call centre sales efficiencies and increasing departmental profits.
