Guest House Intern - Potchefstroom at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Guest House intern is responsible for assisting and overseeing the arrangements for clients/guests visiting the Boskop site and to assist in managing the Guesthouses and Wag ‘n Bietjie game lodge at the Boskop site.

• Planning and processing of expenses and income.
• Basic maintenance and Upkeep of the facilities.
• Eye for detail.
• Experience and ability to oversee housekeeping staff.
• Reservation and basic Administration duties.
• Effective communication.
• Stock take and ordering.
• Assigning rooms.
• Checking-in guests.
• Update of monthly report.
• Assistance with delegation visits.
• Organize conferences and seminars.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Minimum Grade 12 or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
• National Diploma in Hotel Management/ Hospitality.
• Ability to function independently in highly pressurized and stressful environments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
