PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• Join our retail team as a Retail Goods Received Voucher (GRV) Clerk at Econo Foods! In this role, you will be a crucial part of our retail operation, responsible for efficiently managing our goods receipt process. As a Retail GRV Clerk, you will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure our shelves are stocked with quality products and that our customers have a seamless shopping experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that our inventory adheres to quality standards.
• Understand the Retail Goods Received Voucher (GRV) process, focusing on retail-specific items.
• Accurately process and record stock received for our retail shelves.
• Keep our inventory management system up-to-date, ensuring product availability.
• Collaborate with our procurement team and suppliers to address any retail-related stock issues.
• Maintain meticulous records and assist in keeping retail inventory in check.
• Participate in stock takes to ensure retail stock levels are accurate.
• Update our Truck Register for retail deliveries.
• Administer returns and replacements for unsatisfactory retail stock.
• Issue purchase orders for retail products.
• Maintain accurate records of retail inventory and assist with retail inventory control.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in a similar position, with a preference for experience within the FMCG Retail industry.
• Be fluid in English
• Understand the Retail Goods Received Voucher (GRV) process, focusing on retail-specific items.
