    General Manager - Software Development

    Key Responsibilities:

    Software Development Leadership and Execution

    • Oversee all software development activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
    • Lead and manage the software development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture
    • Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies, to drive efficiency and quality
    • Identify and address skills gaps within the team through targeted training and professional development initiatives

    Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

    • Oversee the full lifecycle of software products, from initial concept through to delivery and post-launch support
    • Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to define product requirements, priorities, and timelines
    • Ensure that software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience

    Mobile Application Development and Integration:

    • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications that enhance user engagement and drive business value
    • Ensure seamless integration of mobile apps with core business systems and processes
    • Explore and adopt cutting-edge mobile technologies to enhance app performance and functionality

    Microsoft D365 Migration and CRM Enhancement:

    • Lead the upgrade and ongoing enhancement of the Microsoft CRM system (D365) to ensure it meets evolving business needs
    • Work closely with business units to define CRM requirements, develop project plans, and oversee the execution of upgrades
    • Manage the implementation process, ensuring smooth data migration, system integration, and end-user training

    IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity:

    • Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure that software systems are built on a secure and scalable infrastructure
    • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity practices to protect data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Regularly review and update security protocols to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities

    Vendor and Partnership Management:

    • Manage relationships with external technology vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality and cost-effective services
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to optimize value and align with company objectives
    • Build strategic partnerships with technology providers to leverage new capabilities and innovations

    Budget and Resource Management:

    • Develop and manage the software development budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets
    • Optimize resource allocation to balance project demands with available talent and technology
    • Monitor spending and adjust plans as necessary to ensure the financial success of software initiatives

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus)
    • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior software development leadership role, preferably within the Software or IT Services industry
    • Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing complex technology projects
    • Demonstrated success in overseeing large-scale CRM upgrades, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365

    Technical Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and best practices
    • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, .NET, and SQL Server
    • Experience with mobile app development frameworks and platforms such as iOS, Android, and React Native
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
