POSITION SYNOPSIS:

• To provide specialised technical services that helps improve the organization's process and Manufacturing Execution Systems through the review, testing, repair and maintenance of these systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/ National Diploma in Automation Engineering / Information Systems / Information Technology / Computer Science / Data Science with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in MES & MIS;
• In depth knowledge of Level 2 systems and associated interfaces is essential;
• Minimum of 2 Years’ experience in Business requirements analysis is essential;
• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience working on Oracle Forms/ Reports and Database, Wonderware and Microsoft SQL Server is essential;
• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience with Dot Net, HTML programming and JAVA programming is essential;
• Minimum of 2 Years’ experience in Networks is essential.
   

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide in depth technical MES and MIS Expertise to the operations;
• Ensure content of technical documentation for own discipline is maintained;
• Effectively manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes relating to MES and MIS;
• Ensure the availability of software and application backups;
• Manage obsolescence of hardware, applications, systems and software to ensure sustained and continued operations;
• Verify Technical Services contractors adhere to work standards, are competent, and understand the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work.
