Minimum Requirements

• Create and implement comprehensive business plans which include cost-effective operations and market development activities
• Create and execute the Business Units’ business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
• Help the board and CEO with strategic advice? providing them with accurate view of the market and the Units future
• Monitor the Business Units’ financial performance, investments and other business ventures
• Achieve company growth projections and targets in a dynamic and competitive environment.
• Build good relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
• Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
• Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the business units in ways that strengthen its profile
• Perform analysis of problematic situations and develop solutions to them

Duties & Responsibilities

• A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, or a similar qualification is preferred.
• Experience in managing and handling multiple Business Units and or businesses in an organisation.
• Over 10 years of experience as Managing Director or in another senior managerial role
• Experience in having transformed, repositioned, fixed and grown businesses.
• Experience in the management of senior management.
• Understanding the intricacies of financial management.
• Commercial acumen
• EXCO experience is advantageous.
