What will you do? 

• Support Financial Services business development, pipeline creation and proposals
• Lead project delivery across Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management
• Craft market, client and competitor insight via immersive and data driven analysis
• Formulate corporate, BU and sales and service strategies and propositions
• Design business models, operating model design and business architecture
• Perform value architecture to outline cost benefit insights for opportunities
• Support delivery of experience, digital and AI / Gen AI led transformation, working closely with our other services (e.g. Accenture Song, and Technology,)
• Play an active role in building the Financial Services practice and community

• 5 years+ experience with a top-tier strategy or consulting firm (MBB, Big 4)
• Deep understanding and experience in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Wealth)
• Bachelors Degree (e.g. Business Science, Commerce, Engineering, Other)
• Solid foundational consulting skills (issue-based problem solving, structured communication, value analysis, relationship management, storytelling)
• Fluent understanding of opportunities Technology, AI and Gen AI present
• Strong problem-solving abilities and balance of conceptual and practical thinking
• Keen interest in taking solutions to market, from concept to execution
• Curious nature, positive attitude and strong team player

Job Description

THE WORK:

• You will be part of an exciting team where you are expected to collaborate and form part of a wider technical team.
• You will be responsible for team decisions and will engage with multiple teams to contribute on key decisions in application data administration field.
• Your expertise will be crucial in providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Design and develop databases Capacity plan and conduct database backups Monitor logs for potential problems Monitor software database license processes Manage technical action reports to resolve software issues Provide outage resolution support Perform analysis to resolve issues Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans

Qualifications

Batch operations and MVS architectures Preferred Skills DB2 v11 or higher in a z OS environment Understanding of a database management tools e.g. Performance monitor, schedulers, e.g. CONTROL M R O T DB2 Query Monitor for zOS DB2 SQL Performance Analyser OPTIM query Workload Tuner DB2 Administrator Tool for zOS DB2 for zOS DB2 Log Analysis Tool for zOS QMF for Workstation QMF for zOS CICS DBUG Tool TMON IDZ SQL and or Rexx coding to automate routing tasks.
