Job Description

• Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Distribution in Midrand has an opportunity available for a DC Support Junior Manager to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to achieve operational excellence within the Dis-Chem Distribution Centre incorporating functions in necessary areas, ensuring that both legal and customer requirements are met. 

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Grade 12/ Matric
• 2 - 3 Years relevant experience, in a Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain Environment, or Administrator role

Advantageous:

• Supply-Chain or Logistics Degree or Diploma

Job Specification…

• Provide assistance in resolving personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
• Assist in training new staff and ensure that they have the necessary tools and documents required to perform their duties efficiently.
• Monitor staff performance including performance reviews and coaching.
• Assist in planning and implementing procedures and systems which will maximize operational efficiencies.
• Identify operational obstacles and provide solutions to management.
• Establish rapport with internal and external customers to improve operational efficiencies.
• Assist in coordination and processing of Dis-Chem Retail, Ethical and Cosmetic Warehouses’ and KZN DC credit requests.
• Assist in investigating delivery queries relating to warehouse deliveries.
• Provide the Support manager with reports detailing the progress of claims and other data to assist with the reduction of claims.
• Ensure accuracy of credit data captured.
