    Civil Engineer - Water

    Job Description

    • AECOM invites suitable candidates with experience in water supply pipe network design and modelling. The work will further include the following activities:
    • Development and approval of regional mains rehabilitation and lead programmes
    • Prioritisation of project wish lists from workshops based on pre-set criteria
    • Close liaison with operational-, capital- and regional delivery teams
    • Tagging and handover of programmes to delivery project management office teams
    • Cost estimation of all approved works (design & construction)
    • Development of national infrastructure upgrading plans - 15 to 20 growth area plans per year
    • Development of investment schedules• Assistance in preparation of technical drawings (GIS Mapping) 

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 3 – 7 years’ relevant professional experience.• General civil engineering/ municipal engineering design experience - essential. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – essential.
