    Candidate Civil Engineer

    Job Description

    AECOM invites suitable candidates with experience in water supply pipe network design and modelling. The work will further include the following activities:Work closely with Asset Planning Water Conservation Specialists for the prioritisation and identification of District Meter Areas (DMAs)/Water Supply Schemes for acoustic logger deployment.Liaise with Data Analysts/Data Lead in relation to Water Supply Scheme and DMA audits, open/close and manage Leakage Management System (LMS) campaigns.Liaise with Asset Intelligence to extract GIS data on a DMA level to support leakage reduction programmes.Engage with client suppliers to support projects and programmes under the National Leakage Management team.Attend regular meetings with Local Authorities (LAs) to advance leakage reduction programmes (eg DMA prioritisation, track follow-on Find & Fix (F&F) activities).Prepare acoustic logger deployment plans, analyse data from acoustic logger supplier web-based platforms, handover Points of Interest (POIs) to Water Network Programme (WNP) contractors and/or LA direct labour staff, monitor progress on F&F following POI hand-over, track savings.Work closely with WNP Leads to advance F&F works carried out by WNP contractors & LA direct labour staff, as identified as Points of Interest from acoustic logger data and traditional methods of F&F.Be proficient in the use of the Leakage Management System (LMS), Maximo, client Temetra and any other client systems as required – obtain training as required.Work closely with Capital, Operational & Asset Intelligence teams.Playing a key role in stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders - available to attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required.NB: The is in the UK but will be completed remotely from in South Africa.The candidate will be based in either the Cape Town, Durban or Centurion offices.

    Civil Engineer -Transportation

    Job Description

    You will be working on pavement designs of roads / highways internationally as well as across the Africa region, giving you access to a variety of projects, including major projects.     Senior Environmental Scientist

    Job Description

    The Senior Environmental Scientist will assist and provide support to Environmental & Social Studies for various AECOM projects in the African and Middle East region.
