Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• 4+ years of proven experience in a similar senior role
• Experience in banking, retail, or merchant industries is highly advantageous
• Background in designing and developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
• Impeccable IT knowledge and infrastructure management
• Understanding of IoT technology
• Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team managing all aspects of IT (Software) across multiple functions.
• Build a culture of innovation and engagement within the organization.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans promptly.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and developments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor software development policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Security best practices.
• Manage application development initiatives to meet functionality, timeliness, and cost expectations.
• Implement and promote a robust professional development program, continuously upskilling team members.
• Set objectives and strategies for the IT department.
• Select and implement suitable technology to streamline internal operations and optimize strategic benefits.
• Design and customize technological systems and platforms to enhance customer experience.
• Plan the implementation of new systems and guide IT professionals and stakeholders.
• Approve technological equipment and software purchases and establish partnerships with IT providers.
• Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) to ensure optimal performance.
• Direct and organize IT-related projects.
• Monitor technological changes or advancements to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.
• Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
