    Channel Head: Telesales

    Our Telco Retail Business, including uConnect & me&You is seeking a Channel Head – Telesales & Face-to-Face to help us scale our business.
    The ideal candidate should be a seasoned direct sales leader who is passionate about direct sales, leadership, people development and changing lives through unlocking value for customers.
    This is a channel leadership role and as such delivery off the sales volumes will be your accountability.

    Requirements:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Meet & exceed budgeted/forecasted sales volumes for your channel by Partner.
    • Optimise sales volumes within each environment.
    • Conduct regular rhythm sessions with our partners with a view of growing sales volumes
    • Conduct monthly campaign review sessions with our partners Leadership teams.
    • Be in the field with both Telesales & Face-to-Face Agents on a regular basis.
    • Report on results daily, weekly & monthly as agreed with your upline & business.
    • Collaborate with & leverage our Group to optimise your channel.
    • Manage stock through our Operations teams to ensure product fulfilment for our customers.
    • Build great relationships with our distribution partners.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven success in leading direct sales campaigns.
    • Proven track record of leading and building successful sales teams within a Face to Face &/or Telesales environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the product, marketing and finance teams.
    • A track record of delivery of sales volumes working through third parties.
    • The ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver results.
    • Strong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, presentation.
    • A strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
    • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.
    • High level of integrity.

    Education and Certifications:

    • At least 6 years’ work experience in direct sales ( Face to Face sales, Telesales, or similar ).
    • At least 3 years leading a direct sales team.
    • Experience in driving sales through third parties is desirable
    • National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
