Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Business Intelligence and Analytics Graduate Programme - Gauteng at Standard Bank Group

Our Business intelligent and Analytics BCB SA Graduate Programme seeks to expose young South Africans in advanced data management technics that well enable effective tracking of key business measures that will allow business to make informed decision while driving the growth of our businesses and identifying opportunities to maximize shareholder value.  Through this programme, you will be exposed to several BI and analytical tools that will allow one to understand Data engineering concepts, automation and building bespoke models that aims to solve for business challenges.   

• As a Data engineer, you will deal with several source systems and the ability to ask the relevant questions is key in ensuring we solve for the business needs. The Data can be Structured or semi-structured, the skills to deal with both structures is pivotal as you transform the raw data into meaningful information that can be used by business.  
• A deep understanding of advanced data platforms such as Python, Jupiter Notebook and Power Platforms, together with a formidable background in the fields of Mathematical Statistics, Data Science and Business is required to achieve our goals. This needs to be coupled with an experience in designing data flows aligned to modern data frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate / Postgraduate qualification (Completed or completing in 2023)

Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Honours in: 

• Computer Science
• Informatics
• Information Technology  
• Mathematical Statistics
• Applied Mathematics 
• Actuarial Science
