Business Analyst Manager - Edenvale at Motus Holdings Limited

Position Overview    

• The Business Analyst Manager plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. To analyse, understand and assess business requirements using specialist techniques and principles in order to provide advice, support and to recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its objectives.

Specific Role Responsibilities    

• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate Project and Business Analyst teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities are defined and understood.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements for projects and initiatives.
• Process Analysis: Analyse current business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Solution Design: Develop and propose innovative and cost-effective solutions that address business needs.
• Documentation: Create clear and detailed business requirement doc`uments, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Change Management: Manage project scope changes and document any deviations from the original plan. Support change management efforts by assisting in training and communication planning.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements. Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress and issues.
• Testing Support: Assist in defining test cases and participate in user acceptance testing to validate solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are in alignment with project objectives.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making adjustments as necessary to ensure cost control.
• Project Closure: Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations, capturing lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications and Experience    

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the Motor / Financial Services Industry
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, IIBA, Microsoft) are advantageous
• Experience in Financial services environment
