Audio Engineer - Durban at Hollywoodbets

You Bring:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 2+ years audio experience in video and television environment.
• Proven knowledge producing video and television audio at broadcast standards.
• 3+ years’ experience using Premier Pro, Audition, Pro tools or Da Vinci, amongst others.
• Hands on experience with sound equipment.

A Bonus To Have:

• Qualification in Audio Engineering/ Audio Technology or related.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Communicate with department heads and understanding briefs by delivering in alignment to the production specifications.
• Create rough draft mixes and final mixes with same day deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Set up equipment safely and timeously.
• Test and Troubleshoot equipment regularly and replacing any faulty components.
• Balance and adjust sound sources using equalization, dynamics processing and audio effects, mixing, reproduction and reinforcement of sound.
• Mix audio for video and television productions.
• Audio design for radio and television.
• Audio recording Voice Overs, Foley, Live Events, Video Shoots and any other video productions/ live events.
• Be responsible for all audio equipment purchased by the business for the department and maintenance.
• Work closely with the video and animation team to ensure successful projects are delivered.
• Submit daily reports to manager.
• Travel to work on projects as requested by the business.
• Work tight deadlines and meet deliverables.
• Find solutions when faced with multiple challenges within project/s.
• Ad hoc duties as required amongst others.

PC based hardware:

• Hands-on experience with Audio Editing software and hardware, including Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Adobe Media Encoder, amongst others.
