    Assistant Outbound Scheduler

    Purpose of the Job

    • To manage the scheduling of bulk fuel delivery orders (nationwide) as received from customers and to plan and manage customer inventory levels, replenishment forecasting and automatic order generation to ensure customer satisfaction and that all deliveries are with agreed SLA's

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma Logistics/Transport/Supply Chain or related)
    • 3 years in Scheduling
    • Knowledge of Transport/Operations/Fuels Distribution.

    • Collaborate with various stakeholders [internal and external] to ensure that accurate data is timeously recorded
    • Provide support to key stakeholders and contribute to the delivery enquiry of Sales plans Maintaining and updating Customer Master database
    • Offer support to Customers and Depot`s

    What you’ll be doing

    Planning and Scheduling Management

    • Ensure that all deliveries are scheduled and managed in time and as agreed through generating depot specific customer delivery schedules for fuels, generating Depot daily feedback indicating that the schedule met all requirements (percentage schedule met, reasons for non- compliance, constraints), ensuring that the ASR processes and procedures are effectively executed daily and by continually identifying opportunities to bring new customers into the ASR process in order to maximise Engen's benefits, achieve operational activities achieved within agreed SLA's and to meet customer needs within agreed service levels whilst optimising efficiency

    Systems Support Management

    • Manage, monitor and provide support on systems and tools by ensuring and maintaining data integrity through involvement in the national roll-out of centralised scheduling and automatic stock replenishment, development of expert knowledge in the use of the Ortec Inventory Routing (troubleshooting and remedial activities),

    Customer and Service Provider Interface

    • Liaise and interact with all key stakeholders, service providers/ contractors by following up on business processes & deliverables, and providing feedback to resolve/support to ensure that deadlines are adhered to as per agreed SLA's
