    Content Producer

    What the role entails:

    • Conceptualise and craft engaging social media content, making sure it meets the strategic objectives of our clients.
    • Assist with content ideation for social media, blogs and podcasts.
    • SEO optimisation: conduct monthly keywords research to inform content planning.
    • Write articles with guidance from our editors.
    • Work with the Business Intelligence team to analyse performance of the content, and adapt the content accordingly.
    • Content management: Load articles and images to the blogs.
    • Admin and general operational tasks.

    What you should have:

    • Four to five years’ experience in a digital marketing role within a content marketing or similar agency environment.
    • A relevant tertiary qualification.
    • A deep understanding of how to connect with audiences on META platforms, as well as LinkedIn and YouTube – and how to craft and promote content for the best results.
    • SEO experience.
    • Experience in delivering digital marketing solutions to clients.
    • Podcasting knowledge would be a big plus.

    Creative Lead — Content Studio

    Minimum Requirements:

    •  Relevant qualification in Journalism, Film, Interactive/Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Content Creation, Communication Arts, Information Design, or a related field.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing and editing video content for multimedia platforms.

    Skills, Competencies and Experience:

    • Proficiency with sound and video equipment.
    • Solid understanding of design principles, sound, and video production.
    • Expertise in multimedia production software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
    • Familiarity with current trends and developments in multimedia and social media environments.
    • Experience in managing video production teams, including videographers, graphic designers, and animators.
    • Proficient in post-production processes, including logging footage, managing raw files, and sound design.
    • Proven track record in digital media and content production.
    • Proven ability to, direct, produce and edit video footage and audio podcasts.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a creative team.
    • Knowledge of digital advertising, content marketing, and sales processes.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with commercial studios, news divisions, and freelancers.
    • Innovative and strategic thinking with a strong focus on results.
    • Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Strong conceptual and creative skills.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design team and oversee the creation of industry-leading ad units that drive users down the conversion funnel.
    • Develop and create storyboards and visual decks for various projects, including content, native advertising, News24, and Netwerk24.
    • Collaborate with the Media24 News commercial team to pitch and sell content ideas.
    • Partner with the commercial team to market their divisions.
    • Work closely with content, ad operations, and sales teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and campaign goals.
    • Oversee the creation and execution of multimedia content across various platforms.
    • Ensure all multimedia and design content adheres to Brand Story’s standards of quality.
    • Manage the entire multimedia production process, from conceptualization to final delivery.
    • Implement client feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet client expectations.

     Key Performance Areas:

    • Lead and manage the studio's multimedia and visual team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
    • Establish the Studio as a leader in the South African and Global market through knowledge sharing, contributing to industry advancements, and executing impactful campaigns.
    • Deliver high-quality campaigns within specified deadlines.
    • Ensure the highest standards in multimedia and design content.
    • Oversee multimedia processes, ensuring efficient execution from start to finish.
    • Manage relationships with both in-house specialists and external contractors to ensure project success.

    Creative Director

    Qualifications, skills & experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in the magazine advertising industry.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including print and digital advertising.
    • Excellent ideation skills with the ability to generate and develop innovative concepts.
    • Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts to stakeholders and team members.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
