    Assistant Manager Finance Cost Management

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Calculate new budget based on changes in respective plants.
    • Prepare presentation showing overall budget trend and KPI’s
    • Maintain master data sheet by GL account updated on a monthly basis
    • Adjust forecast for financial implication of changes in operation.
    • Provide commentary for variances between actual, budget, forecast, prior forecast & prior year actual.
    • Finalize reallocations & accruals for outstanding expenses for the month & flex in line with changes
    • Investigate trends, deviations from trends & anomalies
    •  Present to respective plants senior managers & general managers
    • Identify potential efficiency improvements in each operation
    • Track progress made on KPA’s highlighting actions taken, problems encountered and results achieved
    •  Support management with adhoc requests for information or analysis
    •  

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF 5 (240 Credits), Degree or Diploma in Accounting
    • Relevant Management and Financial Accounting/costing experience (1-3 years), preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrate ability to operate and interact at management levels.
    • Demonstrate ability to supervise a small team of people.
    • Advanced Power BI and Excel skills
    • Good business acumen (Advantageous)
