Assets Administrator at Agricultural Research Council

Description

• Management of all capital assets; identify, count and verify.
• Ensure compliance with ARC policies, asset management Acts and policies i.e. receiving and barcoding of the new assets;
• Monthly asset verification and disposal;
• Update and reconcile the inventory control sheet by agreeing to the fixed asset register;
• Update the fixed register on the system with relevant information;
• Compile the list of disposable assets that are not usable;
• Ensure documents are properly filed and stored in a safer place;
• Ability to work under pressure to meet all set deadlines related to assets;
• Assist in any other assets related duties.

Requirements

• National Diploma / Bcom in Accounting, Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related
•  1 to 2 years’ relevant experience
• Proficiency in Ms Office suite
• Driver’s license Code 8 or 10
• Adhere to OHS Regulations
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to perform routine work.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
