Armed Response officers - Eastern Cape at Fidelity Services Group

Qualification & Experience:

• Grade 10
• PSIRA Registered Grade C
• Valid Driver's License (Code B/EB or former truck license also acceptable)
• Armed Response Certificate
• Firearm Competency Certificate

Job Requirements & Other Attributes:

• Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB)
• Minimum of two (2) years driving experience
• Ability to work shifts
• High maturity level

Duties:

• Familiarize yourself with the area.
• Maintain response times as required by management.
• Demonstrate necessary driving skills.
• Use the shortest possible routes in the area.
• Show empathy to clients and listen attentively.
• Prioritize client welfare at all times.
• Follow up with clients after serious incidents and offer assistance.
• Pay special attention to all calls.
• Perform a public relations service and introduce yourself to new clients.
• Stand off at designated points during peak hours.
• Patrol the area during off-peak times.
• Conduct daily parades and comply with Standing Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure the general appearance of the vehicle is maintained through daily/weekly checklists.
• Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to daily parade requirements.
• Take care of equipment and complete daily/weekly checklists.
• Submit comprehensive reports and feedback as requested.
• Provide accurate information both upwards and downwards.
• Assist with any problems or complaints.
• Provide full feedback to clients where necessary.
