    Area Sales Manager Northwest

    Glen Dimplex Group is a world leader in intelligent electric heating and renewable energy solutions, as well as holding significant global market positions in domestic appliances, cooling and ventilation.

    The Area Manager is a pivotal UK Sales role within the Commercial Division of GDHV UK, to cover the regional sales of the UK PIHV business, with a specific focus on the newly formed Professional Installed Heating & Ventilation (PIHV) channel into our regional partners. Responsible for achieving business and profitable sales, range and service, ensuring that the company profit for GDHV UK products is maximised through the execution of a results-oriented growth strategy for all relevant routes to market.

    The role will focus on the sales fulfilment of all GDHV UK brands, solutions and products, covering Heating, Cooling, Hot Water, Ventilation, MvHR and Renewables. Responsible for Regional Sales, within all Sectors, for all Regional Accounts. Working in full collaboration with the commercial Director and regional head of sales, to ensure the successful delivery of the Account profit and Personal key performance objectives.

    Accountabilities

    • Working closely with the regional head of sales for the area to deliver and develop regional sales action plans and direction for the specific geographical sales area and regional customer base.
    • Ensuring the sales action plans are aligned to the goals and objectives set out within regional business plan.
    • Work closely with the GDHV Marketing teams to develop annual marketing action plans focused regional requirements and developing regional relationships.
    • Manage regional trading terms to reflect the level of business forecasted with existing customers and facilitate all commercial discussions with the support of the GDHV UK Leadership team.
    • CRM Pipeline Management; Manage the ongoing improvement of the Account/s CRM system to generate clear statistical management information on sales process activities, utilise CRM system to ensure quotations are correctly issued to customers in line with regional pricing agreements.
    • Responsible for a specific sales activity within the region while also Leading, Developing and Motivating direct reports across the wider regional sales team by setting SMART objectives and KPI’s relevant to sales team roles.
    • Provide monthly regional sales forecasts to the regional head of sales to assist with the IBP forecasting process.
    • Manage the on-going improvement of regional activity via CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) to generate clear statistical management information on sales orders & Project pipeline.
    • Monitor regional market changes in order to provide key market analysis back to the assist the business in identifying key industry trends.
    • To carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the regional head of sales.
    • Teamwork; Working in partnership with fellow sales colleagues to minimise conflict and ensure that appropriate profit margins are maintained.
    • Act as the role model, representing our values and behaviours in an appropriate manor.
